Who Am I
Who am I is an interesting question
I can tell you what I do, but that not me
It is simply what I am doing now
Some call me Brandon, which means fiery sword
It interesting that the Bible call the word the sword
So I guess I am full of passion spitting out these words
Hoping that your mind changes and expands
I be dropping rhymes on education, racism, politics and me
Not so much as rhyming, but discussing my thoughts
And hope you share your thoughts, and we together grow
Some call me B and I like that name of B
So ambiguous, so general, I can B anything
Bad, beautiful, bold, better, best, black, baby blue, bluesman,
Or my personal favorite I like to have in there, blessed
Yeah that sounds real nice and real good to me
You see I adapt, I change, I grow, but I am always with complete
I am with God who follows me and helps me to keep B eing
And through being blessed and beautiful and bold, I need to bless
SO then that is part of me, because to be blessed, means to be a blessing
Which I guess brings me to another name they call me
Mr. Johnson they sometime call me which is the son of John
Well John is the gift of God, So I am the son of the gift of God
Meaning that I am the son of the gift of love meaning I am a gifted lover
I am the one who gives to you when I have which is often because I need to blessed
I am the one that with passion and heart for your rights even if wrong
I am a royal nation that has been put down, but continues to rise
As I change, one thing remains the same; I am these things listed above
MY methods for the world may change, but the goal will never change
Just watch me as I start on this journey that will take the world by storm
I am Mr. Brandon * Johnson. B to some, but a gift to all.
